A Sandilands Village Road man is the country’s latest homicide victim.

The Journal understands that 47-year-old Owen Rolle was shot just before 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

The homicide count now stands at 62.

Superintendent Paul Rolle told the Journal that Rolle was at a house party through Podoleo Street when attendees heard gunshots.

When police arrived on the scene, they met Rolle’s body through Washington Street with multiple gunshot wounds.
