Skeletal remains were discovered on Prime Cay in the Exuma chain Saturday night, police said.

Officers from the George Town Police Station, acting on a tip, travelled to the area at 8:10 p.m.

When they got there they found the human remains with what appeared to be a rope tied around the neck.

Police could not identify the victim’s gender.
