Police in Abaco are holding a 21-year-old man of Cooper’s Town following a late night stabbing on that island.

According to authorities, a 25-year-old Treasure Cay resident was at a beach around 10:30 p.m. Monday when he was attacked by a group of males and stabbed in the process.

The victim was eventually airlifted to hospital in New Providence, where he is detained in serious condition.

Meantime, the suspect is expected to be arraigned in connection with this crime sometime this week.
