The man shot and killed in Grand Bahama has been identified as Sean Andrew Smith, 38 of #19 Grenfill Avenue.

According to police, masked men walked up to a group of people shortly after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and opened fire, killing Smith and wounding another man.

The shooting took place on Weddell Avenue in an area commonly known as The Ghetto, the same location where 23-year-old Leonardo Pierre was gunned down hours before.

Grand Bahama police on Tuesday took to the streets in that community to ensure that residents feel safe.
