Baha Mar through its charitable organization “Believe” has partnered with State Minister of Investments and Pinewood Member of Parliament Khaalis Rolle to bring Pinewood Residents relief.

Residents had been pleading for the government’s assistance in the aftermath of that area being flooded.

Mr. Rolle says the help received from the organisation has been tremendously extensive.

“If you go into some homes, everything was destroyed,” he said.

“We still have many people that don’t have the ability to replace the furniture and replace elements of the home that was damaged.”

Mr.Rolle also says that he was concerned about the health hazards in the area.

“A big concern that I have is when you have environment like this issues occur but hopefully over the next couple of months we will continue to look for assistance to help these people,” he said.

Mr. Rolle could not comment on how many people have been able to benefit from the donations but says that it for sure has been a substantial amount.
