Police are investigating a stabbing incident which left a woman with injuries.

According to police, shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday, a woman was in the parking lot of a bar on Rosedale Street, when she got into an altercation with another woman, which escalated, resulting in her being stabbed about the body. 

The injured woman was taken to hospital and is listed in stable condition. 

Investigations are ongoing.
