Mother Of Four Identified as Murder Victim

One of the victims from Monday’s homicides has been identified as 33-year-old Nadia Tracy Cartwright.

Cartwright was killed early Monday morning just after 2:30 a.m. on Blue Hill Road opposite the entrance to Yellow Elder Gardens.

Reports are that the Marshall Road resident was on the back of a trail motorcycle when a grey Nissan Tida pulled alongside her and the driver and the occupants opened fire.

Cartwright was also rolled over by the car.

The mother of four had a single gunshot wound to the head.

The Bahama Journal has also been informed that she was a waitress at Naughty Johnny’s in the Old Fort Plaza.

Police have two suspects in custody – a 24-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman – in connection with the matter.

Cartwright was one of three killed on Monday.

Prince Prudent, 37, was gunned down in an attempted armed robbery through Sapodilla Boulevard in Pinewood Gardens.
