A 22-year-old Union Village man was stabbed to death Monday during a fight with a friend.
The victim has been identified as Jevon Mullings.
The incident happened at 6:00 p.m.
Mullings was in Union Village when he got into an altercation with an 18-year-old.
Both were stabbed during the incident and taken to hospital by EMS personnel.
Mullings, however, died at the hospital.
Police are calling on members of the public who have any information to contact them.
Central Detective Unit (CDU) chief, Superintendent Paul Rolle told the Journal that several eyewitnesses were questioned after the incident on Monday.
He also explained that once the 18-year-old is released from hospital, he will be questioned.
This latest incident comes less than 48-hours after 18-year-old Joshua Rolle was gunned down through Quakoo Street.
The homicide count now stands at 68 for the year.
