Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Tuesday, which left a man in hospital. 

According to police, shortly before 10 p.m. a man was at a home on Commonwealth Boulevard, Elizabeth Estates, when he was approached by a male armed with a firearm, who shot him multiple times about the body before running away. The injured man was transported to hospital and is presently listed in critical condition.

Investigations continue.
