Police in Abaco are probing the details surrounding a stabbing incident that has left a male hospitalized this past weekend.

According to police reports the man was stabbed ion Don McKay Boulevard and taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic.

Shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, while at a nightclub he was stabbed to the body several times by a male known to him.

He was then taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic and was seen by doctor who listed his injuries as serious.

The victim was flown to New Providence for further medical assistance.

Police are actively investigating this matter.
