Police are questioning two males in connection with one of the country’s recent murders.
Key West Street resident, 19-year-old Kayvonnya Miller’s butchered body was found in bushes at the rear of a new housing development on Poinciana Drive, Pinewood Gardens last Thursday.
Police said Miller’s body had multiple stab wounds.
Foul play is suspected.
At last report, detectives were questioning an adult male and a juvenile male.
Miller was the country’s sixth homicide victim last week.
Just before 2:00 a.m. Saturday, 29-year-old Hueton Lloyd Jr.was killed.
Police said Lloyd, a resident of Trinidad Avenue, Elizabeth Estates was on Key West Street south of Cordeaux Avenue when he was approached by three men and shot multiple times.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, pushing the overall homicide count to 52.
