Police have identified the country’s most recent homicide victim as 45-year-old Scott Roberts.

The Blair resident’s lifeless body was found early Saturday morning on Peach Street off Montrose Avenue.

He had a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The Bahama Journal understands Roberts owned a surf shop in Marsh Harbour, Abaco and a boat repair business in New Providence.

Roberts’ death marked this year’s 25th homicide.
