Authorities found a man’s body lying on the shoreline at Marshall Road last Friday.
Police gave no word on the condition of the corpse or if there were any visible signs of trauma.
At present, investigating officers say they are still uncertain of the circumstances surrounding this latest incident and have not yet classified this incident.

Andros Man Found Dead

An Andros man who went missing was found dead in waters at Cargill Creek, Andros this past Wednesday.

Two Androsians found the man around 1:15 p.m. near Henry Dock.

Police have not yet released the man’s identity. This discovery has also not yet been classified.

Wanted Suspect Captured

Police captured a teen murder suspect who had been on the run for nearly a month.

Officers arrested 17-year-old Michael Defrend of East Street South around 6:00 p.m. Friday in eastern New Providence.

The teen escaped lawful custody on June 28. He was being treated at the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH).
