The man allegedly behind the Majority Rule late night murder is on remand at The Bahamas Department of Corrections.
Accused of the crime is 30-year-old, James Thompson of Pinewood Gardens.
Police said it was after 11pm last Thursday that Joel Russell aka Joseph Russell was shot.
Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. He died on the scene.
Also arraigned in connection with the crime was 23-year-old, Robert Arthur.
It is alleged that Arthur knowingly helped Thompson avoid due process of the law.
Both accused were not required to enter a plea.
They were also denied bail.
The two were remanded to The Bahamas Department of Corrections until May 5th, 2019.
