Caribbean Bottling Company and The Royal Bahamas Police Force partner up once again to produce the 3rd Annual Sprite Freestyle Basketball Tournament. The Tournament is slated to being on July 4thth with the championship game and closing ceremony on July 29th.
The Sprite Freestyle Challenge is the result of two organizations deeply rooted in the community, hoping to make a real difference. The tournament has become a major success with more children wanting to join every year. “We see this as an opportunity to execute crime prevention by helping young men develop relationships with police officers in their community” said Inspector Anthony Rolle.
Caribbean Bottling Company is once again financing all costs associated with the tournament. “This year we have implemented a reward system for those exemplifying leadership skills and good character. We aim make the program one that doesn’t just encourage the boys to become better basketball players. We truly want to encourage good values and assist with preparing them to become honest, productive members of our society” says Donnisha Armbrister, Marketing Manager at Caribbean Bottling Company.
The schedule will be published in all local newspapers and via Facebook in to create awareness and encourage spectatorship.
