Former parliamentarian Edmund Moxey will be laid to rest during a state recognised funeral on Friday, August 1 at the Parish Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Stapeldon Gardens.
According to a brief release from Cabinet Office, Mr. Moxey will lie in state in the foyer of the House of Assembly on Wednesday and Thursday at 9:00a.m. until service time on Friday.
Viewing for the public will begin at noon until 6:00p.m on Wednesday and Thursday.
Meantime, a memorial service will be held on Wednesday at the Bahamas Harvest Church on Prince Charles Drive at 7:00p.m.
Mr. Moxey died last week in hospital.
He was 80 years old.
