Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested
A 24-year-old Life Buoy Street man was arrested by police minutes after he and another man attempted to rob a local businessman yesterday morning.
Initial police reports say the incident happened shortly after 4:00 a.m. when the victim was closing up shop at his bar on Deveaux Street.
Two men approached the proprietor and demanded cash, police said.
Police say the two men then assaulted the victim with a firearm and fled on foot after the victim pleaded he had no cash.

Officers stopped the man, determined that he was one of the suspects in the attempted robbery and arrested him.
