Authorities have launched an intensive investigation after discovering a fetus in a dumpster Sunday evening, police confirmed yesterday.

Police made the discovery around 4:00 pm on Sunday at Golden Isles Road.

Police are investigating and appealing to members of the public who may have any information regarding this incident to contact police.
