CARICOM Chairman and Prime Minister Perry Christie is in Grenada for a special high level meeting on the future of the West Indies Cricket Board and West Indies Cricket generally, which are both at a crossroad.
Prime Minister Christie will attend in the capacity as chair of CARICOM at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Grenada who is the chair of the CARICOM subcommittee on cricket.
Other regional prime ministers will join the one day meeting along with a number of the game’s historic greats.
Accompanying the prime minister is Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell and support staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Prime Minister Christie will return to Nassau today.
