Three people – two men and one woman – are in police custody after they were found in possession of dangerous drugs.

According to police just after 2:00 Friday morning Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) Officers while on Queens Highway in Grand Bahama, conducted a search of a 1998 Toyota Corolla with the three people and found a black travelling bag that contained two taped packages of suspected marijuana.

The drugs weigh approximately 15 pounds and have an estimated street value of $1,500.

Investigations are continuing in this matter.
