Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a sudden death that has left a 33-year-old man dead.

Police said on Saturday shortly after 9:00 a.m., they received information that a man was at work at a local resort in the Lucaya area when he was reportedly electrocuted.

He was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a doctor.

The matter is under police investigation.
