The list of suspects in the murder of Kurt McCartney has been narrowed down to one.

Superintendent Stephen Dean telling our newsteam that out of the eight suspects taken into custody over the weekend – only one female remains.

Superintendent Dean could not say whether this female is the primary suspect for the murder or if she will be charged in connection with the crime.

Kurt – the brother of Democratic National Alliance (DNA) Leader Branville McCartney was gunned down last Thursday in the area of Gambier Village.

On Monday, the McCartney family offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction of the killer.
