A father and his daughter were arrested over the weekend after being found with drugs and firearms.
The 15-year-old girl and her 50-year-old father were found in possession of two illegal pistols and a large quantity of ammunition and suspected marijuana.
Reports indicate that around 12:20 p.m. Saturday, officers from the Mobile Division executed a search warrant on an apartment at Kim’s Crescent off Baillou Hill Road, where they found the items.
The drugs weighed an estimated two pounds and have an estimated street value of $2,000.
Meanwhile, a 28-year-old man of Antioquia Columbia was arrested after he was found in possession of five kilos of suspected cocaine.
Officers from the Airport Police Station arrested the man shortly after 6:00 p.m. Friday in the U.S. Departure Lounge at Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA).
The drugs weighed an estimated 12 pounds and have an estimated street value
of $75,000 dollars.
Police investigations into both matters continue.
