An early morning shooting has left one man dead and another fighting to stay alive in hospital over in Grand Bahama.
Residents told police it was around 7:30 a.m. that gunshots rang out in the Churchill Drive area.
When officers arrived on the scene, they met a male on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds about the body.
The victim was taken to hospital, where at last report, he was receiving medical attention.
However, a second male, also taken to hospital, died.
Monday’s shooting death marks the country’s 91st homicide so far this year.
Early Saturday, one man killed the other during an argument over a woman.
The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Geneo Tynes of Montell Heights.
Police were questioning a 49-year-old man in connection with the incident.
Meantime, active investigations continue into both matters.
