Police officials in Abaco uncovered more than 2,000 marijuana plants in a cultivation field early Tuesday morning.
According to police reports the marijuana field was found in Crossing Rock, Abaco around 9:30 that morning.
It was reported that officers of the Marsh Harbour, Abaco District acting on information went to an area in Crossing Rock, South Abaco and discovered 2,500 marijuana plants ranging from one inch to six feet in height.
A 71-year-old male of Crossing Rock, Abaco was arrested in connection with this
matter.
The marijuana is estimated at $250,000.00
Police are actively investigating this matter.
Meantime Abaco police are searching for 45-year-old Delroy Everton Miller of Crossing Rock, Abaco and Westmoreland Jamaica.
He is wanted by the Drug Enforcement Unit in Abaco for cultivation of marijuana plants.
He is described as standing five-feet-nine-inches tall, having short hair, and medium build with brown complexion.
Police are warning anyone who may come in contact with him to not approach as Miller is considered armed and dangerous.
