The trial for three men accused of killing a police corporal more than a decade ago has to wait yet another week.
Stephen ‘Die’ Stubbs, Quinton Evans and Andrew Davis are all accused of the 1999 murder of Corporal Jimmy Ambrose, who was killed outside Club Rock on West Bay Street.
During what was supposed to be the jury selection, Justice Roy Jones, who presides over the case, told the potential jurors that they would have to come back to court on Monday June 3rd because there are a few legal issues that must be discussed in their absence.
This is the third time the men will be tried for the offence.
Director of Public Prosecutions Vinette Graham-Allen and Armbrose Armbrister represent the Attorney General’s Office.
Stubbs is represented by attorney Murrio Ducille, Evans is represented by Ramona Farquharson and Davis is represented by Ian Cargill.
The matter has been adjourned until tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m.
