Police in Grand Bahama are investigating an alleged suicide that occurred on Saturday.

According to police, shortly before 3 p.m. they were called to the rear of Sir Jack Hayward Senior High School playing field, where the lifeless body of a male was discovered hanging by a rope from a tree. 

EMS personnel were called to the scene.

 Investigations continue.
