The man allegedly behind the recent discovery of millions of dollars worth of drugs has been charged and jailed.
Chino Deal, 30, of Holmes Rock, Grand appeared before Magistrate Andrew Forbes on Monday to be arraigned on two counts of possession of dangerous drugs with the intent to supply.
Deal’s arraignment stems from a drug bust in Grand Bahama last Wednesday.
According to authorities, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) found a blue and white go-fast boat with over $2 million in marijuana on board.
Deal pleaded not guilty to the charges and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons (HMP) until May 1.
Police investigations are ongoing.
