Former Senator to be sworn in as Deputy Governor General

Cabinet Office advised yesterday that former Senator Lonnie Rolle will be sworn in today as deputy to the governor general.

Ms. Rolle will serve in the absence of Governor General the Most Hon. Cornelius A. Smith, who will be out of the country from February 28 to March 1, 2020.

A swearing in ceremony will take place today at 11:30 a.m. at Government House.
