Four men were arraigned before Magistrate Andrew Forbes yesterday on drug-related charges.
Shurland Woodside, 45; Raymond Bain, 39; Dominic Smith, 32 and Neko Ferguson, 24 are charged with conspiracy to possess dangerous drugs with the intent to supply and possession of dangerous drugs with the intent to supply.
Smith alone faces an additional possession charge.
The men were arrested Sunday after they were found in possession of suspected marijuana.
They pleaded not guilty to all charges and were remanded to prison.
The men are expected back in court on April 24th and 25th next year.
Moments before taking those suspects into court, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) arrested a man believed to be responsible for a murder that occurred earlier this year.
Dion Campbell a.k.a Admiral was at the Magistrates’ Court Complex to pay a fine in connection with another matter.
As he stood outside the entrance, one of the officers pointed him out and called for his arrest.
He was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
Charges are expected to be filed this week.
