Police are investigating a traffic accident that left a man dead Saturday.

According to reports, it was shortly after 6:00pm, the accident occurred on St. Vincent Road near Olive Road involving a 1998 Honda Integra car driven by a man and a motorcycle driven by another man.

The motorcyclist received serious injuries and was rushed to hospital where he later succumbed.

The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries and later released.
