The Bahama Journal extends its sincerest apologies for the June 20, 2017 online publication of a story titled, “22-Year-Old Charged with Attempted Murder.”  The story indicated that “Everette Strachan, 22, was charged with one count attempted murder and one count grievous harm before Magistrate Andrew Forbes.” We acknowledge that Strachan did not receive those charges. The man who received those charges was Shaquille Bodie, who appeared in the photograph published with the story.  We apologize for the consequences Strachan has faced as a result of the publication.
