Police are seeking the public’s assistance yet again in solving a series of crimes – namely four armed robberies which took place Tuesday.
In the first incident, shortly after 7:30am, a woman was walking on Stanford Drive when a man armed with a handgun robbed her of her handbag containing cash and other personal items. The man then fled on foot.
Then, shortly after 8:00am, a man armed with a handgun robbed a convenience store located at Pine Barron road. The culprit robbed the establishment of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
In the third incident shortly after 4:00pm, a woman was in Soldier Road Industrial Park, when a man armed with a handgun robbed her of a white 2010 Kia Sorrento vehicle license number 234643 and sped off.
And police said around 9:00pm, a man was walking on Eneas Jumper Corner when a man armed with a knife robbed him of a cell phone before fleeing on foot.
Police are appealing to anyone with information regarding any of these crimes, to anonymously call police at 919 or Crimestoppers at 328-TIPS.
