Reverend Dr. Ranford Patterson has been re-elected the president of the Bahamas Christian Council (BCC).

Meanwhile, Anglican Archdeacon Reverend James Palacious and Pastor Gloria Ferguson were elected vice president and second vice president, respectively.

Pastor Ferguson is the first woman in the council’s history to hold such a post.

The council’s elections were held last evening at the Good Samaritan Kingdom Ministries off Carmichael Road.

Dr. Patterson who was re-elected unopposed will now serve a second term as president.
