Minister of National Security Dr. Bernard Nottage is out of country on medical leave once again.
The Bains Town and Grants Town Member of Parliament (MP) left the country this weekend and according to a press release from Cabinet, he is expected to return soon.
In the meantime, Prime Minister Perry Christie will be acting in the capacity of National Security Minister until Dr. Nottage returns to his post.
This is the second time in less than half a year Dr. Nottage took medical leave.
Back in May, the minister flew to Florida to be examined at the Cleveland Clinic after falling ill.
Cabinet remains tight-lipped on the doctor visit, but insists he will return to his post soon.
