Police on Wednesday identified a 17, an 18 and a 23-year-old – all males – as three of the country’s latest murder victims.
They man whose burnt body was found behind a church off Cowpen Road Tuesday morning is 23-year-old Rolley Gibson Jr. of Sandilands Village Road.
Gibson’s burnt body was found just before 10 that morning behind a church off Refuge Court and police estimate that it had been there for about 12 hours.
Police officials also identified the man who was shot to the head while playing a game of dominoes Monday night through Constitution Drive as 18-year-old Braven Hanna.
The incident occurred just before nine that night.
According to police officials a gunman approached wearing a black tam and opened fire, shooting Hanna to the head before fleeing on foot.
The suspect was last seen heading in the direction of nearby Eden Street.
Hanna died on the scene.
The man shot and killed at Cordeaux Avenue on Friday April 25 was identified as 17-year-old Carleau Prudhomme of East Street.
The teen was reportedly walking on Cordeaux Avenue when two men armed with a handgun shot him to the head and fled on foot.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
