Two men appeared in The Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning, charged with
unlawful sexual intercourse with minors. 32 year-old, William Lewis was charged
with two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with two 15-year-old girls while on
Harbor Island.
The incidents occurred on Saturday 12 th August and Tuesday, 29 th August 2023
according to police reports.
Also arraigned for a similar offence but in a separate incident was 24 year-old
Alzono Pinder, who was also charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a
minor, yet another 15 year old girl on Harbour Island on Thursday 1 st June.
Both men were denied bail and remanded to The Bahamas Department of
Corrections.
They return to court on the 25 th January where they will be presented with a
voluntary bill of indictment which would fast track their matter to the Supreme
Court.
