Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on Friday, which left a man with injuries. 

According to police, shortly before 12 a.m., a man was in the area a business establishment George Street, off Bay Street, when he was attacked by another man armed with a sharp object, who stabbed him about the body. 

The injured man was transported to hospital where he is listed in stable condition. 

Investigations are ongoing.
