Police are investigating a shooting incident that left a man dead on Sunday. 

Police responded to reports of gunshots being discharged in the Pinewood Gardens area around 10 p.m. 

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the man suffering from gunshot injuries. EMS also responded and rendered assistance, but the man succumbed to his injuries on scene. 

An adult male is in custody assisting police with investigations.

Investigations are ongoing.
