Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a shooting incident that has left a man dead.
It happened around 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Police said they received reports of a shooting incident near Bass Lane and Murchinson Drive.
When officers arrived at the scene they found the 39-year-old man lying on his back suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to hospital, but unfortunately he succumbed to those injuries yesterday.

An undocumented Haitian man is in hospital in New Providence and listed in serious condition after being shot in the cheek during an apprehension exercise in Eleuthera on Tuesday.
Reports are that a joint team, consisting of police and immigration officers, was conducting an operation in Palmetto Point, when the Haitian man who attempted to disarm an immigration officer was shot in the cheek.
The man was rushed to hospital in New Providence. Investigations are ongoing.
