MAN BEING ARRAIGNED FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER

A 21-year-old man was arraigned in a magistrate’s court on two counts of attempted muder Friday.

Prince Albert Farrington of Tall Pines was charged with attempting to murder Dashard Bethel and Drenda Williams on September 22.

Farrington was not required to enter a plea to the charges and he was denied.

He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons and will return to court on November 19 when the matter will proceed by a Voluntary Bill of Indictment.

Also brought before the courts on Friday was 26-year-old Takeil Tynes of Fire Trail Road who was charged with the attempted murder of 18-year-old Wilson Lacroix on September 18.

Lacroix and 20-year-old Akeem Oliver were injured in a double shooting in Montell Heights following an argument on September 18.

Both men were rushed to the hospital but Oliver died a short while after.

Tynes was not required to enter a plea and was also denied bail.

He was remanded to prison and will return to court on November 12.
