The head of Princess Margaret Hospital’s Security department became the country’s latest traffic fatality yesterday afternoon.
While police have not released the identity of the victim, The Journal understands he is Alton Virgil, the head of security at PMH.
According to reports, shortly after 5:00am, police received a report of fatal accident at Golf Course Boulevard, Sea Breeze Estates.
When Officers arrived on the scene, they met the lifeless body of a male with injuries. He was pinned in a Self-Drive 2008 Nissan Cube.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary reports indicate, that the victim was driving on Golf Course Boulevard when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a concrete wall.
Officers from the RBPF Traffic Department are investigating.
