Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic accident that has left a 46-year-old man of Freeport dead.

Reports are that on Saturday, October 10, 2015 shortly after 5 p.m., a traffic accident occurred on West Grand Bahama Highway involving a black 2001 Ford Explorer that was driven by the deceased.

The lone male driver apparently lost control of his vehicle which ended up in nearby bushes.

He was ejected from his vehicle where he received injuries and later succumbed at the scene. The vehicle received extensive damages.

Police are actively investigating this matter.
