A 42-year-old father was yesterday charged with incest.
His alleged victim was his 13-year-old daughter.
The incident is alleged to have happened between June and July 3.
The accused was not required to enter a plea.
Furthermore, Magistrate Joyanne Ferguson-Pratt said she could not make a decision on bail until Friday.
The accused will be remanded at Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP)until then.
The father however expressed concern about being on remand, charging that he had been shot 14 times back in 2009 and that the attempted murder trial for the two men who allegedly shot him, continues.
He further claimed that considering those men are also on remand at HMP, they would try to harm him.
The magistrate promised to notify the prison superintendent of the man’s concerns.
