The Caribbean Export Development agency in collaboration with the European Union is preparing to provide private grant funds to the Cariforum private sector.
The firm will be informing businesses and business support organizations across the region of the application process for the Direct Assistance Grant Scheme (DAGS) over the next few months.
DAGS is a reimbursement grant funding facility designed to provide financial backing to legally registered firms, and business support organizations with the potential to export their products and services.
The agency also intends to train representatives from each of the Cariforum countries to become DAGS experts.
The workshop scheduled for today at Superclub Breezes is designed to provide attendees with more information on the grant scheme, how to apply, and the process of reimbursement.
The workshop kicks off at 9am sharp until 4pm.
