Family members watched in horror Sunday morning as a dispute between two brothers ended with one being stabbed to death.
The incident occurred shortly after 10:00 a.m. at the family’s apartment unit off St. Vincent Road.
The two men ages 39-years and 30-years were involved in an altercation when the older brother stabbed the younger multiple times, according to Officer-In-Charge of the Criminal Detective Unit (CDU), Superintendent Paul Rolle.
The victim died on the scene.
The suspect was soon arrested and taken into police custody.
Witnesses told the Bahama Journal that the two men had a tumultuous relationship and that they could often be heard yelling and fighting each other.
The victim was married and the father of a young baby boy.
Sunday’s fatal stabbing comes just three days after a teen was killed.
Police yesterday were still looking for the person(s) responsible for the crime.

Police responded and found a man inside a red Honda vehicle with a gunshot injury to the upper body.
The victim – 19-year-old Danny Poitier of Gambier Village – died in hospital.
