The men who police believe are responsible for two separate murders that occurred this year were brought before the Magistrate’s Court on Thursday to face the charges levied against them.
Ondol Paul, 31, aka Adrian McGene of Nassau Village was charged with murder, police believe he is responsible for the May 27 murder of Kentley Milfort.
The 24-year-old victim was gunned down as he played a game of dominoes through Odle corner off East Street.
Milfort was reportedly released from prison shortly before his death.
In a separate matter, 32-year-old Jarvis Burrows of #7 Sutton Street was charged with abetment to murder, police believe that he aided in causing the death of George Nixon on August 21.
According to police reports, Nixon was gunned down with a high powered weapon on Lyon Road off Shirley Street, the 23-year-old victim was released from prison as well shortly before his death.
Burrows also faced a charged with abetment to the armed robbery of Devon Francis on August 21.
He was also charged with the armed robbery Tony Williams on May 27 where it is alleged that he stole the victim’s 2002 Nissan Bluebird.
Additionally, Burrows was charged with possession of a firearm and charged with receiving.
The men were not required to enter a plea to the charges pegged against them and were remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons.
Paul and Burrows will return to court on October 1 where their matters will proceed via a Voluntary Bill of Indictment.
