A 30-year-old female is in police custody after she was arrested by officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) for possession of dangerous drugs.

Reports are that on Friday, shortly after 2:00 p.m. DEU officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Epson Road, Freeport, Grand Bahama where they discovered in a plastic bag and in a pillow case 21 pounds of suspected marijuana.

The woman who resides at Epson Road was arrested and taken into police custody.

The estimated value is of the drugs is $21,000.00.

Investigations are continuing in this matter.
