A wanted suspect has been captured.

Police arrested 41-year-old Modesto Colebrooke around 9:00p.m. Monday.

A wanted bulletin was issued for the Yellow Elder Gardens resident in March.

Colebrooke, who was on bail, is accused of unlawful sexual intercourse.

He was arrested for violating his bail conditions.

Woman’s Decomposed Body Found

Police were yesterday investigating the circumstances surrounding a body retrieved from waters at Potter’s Cay Dock Monday afternoon.

Authorities said the body was of a female and in an advance stage of decomposition.

Long Island Traffic Fatality

The country’s traffic fatality count climbed a notch higher after a man was killed in Long Island on Monday.

According to police, the victim was driving a red 2005 Toyota on Queen’s Highway when he lost control and collided into a utility pole.

The driver was seriously injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the local doctor.
