Police in Bimini are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of a male visitor in Bimini over the weekend.

Reports are that shortly before midnight on Sunday, police in Bimini were called to the island’s government clinic where a Caucasian male visitor with bruises about the body was brought to the clinic by two male visitors.

That 35-year-old man from India later succumbed to his injuries at that clinic.

An autopsy will be performed and an investigation will be carried out to determine the events that led to his death.

Police are appealing to the general public for anyone with information on this matter to come forth.
